GLBTRT Here I Come.

I’m very excited to announce that I have been named Chair of the External Relations Committee for the The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgendered Round Table (GLBTRT) of the American Library Association (ALA), 2010-2012. This appointment is very special to me in that it deals with something very close to my heart, and that is GLBT understanding and outreach.

This is the 40th anniversary year of the GLBTRT and the the round table has lots to offer. If you would like to learn a little bit more about what we do, here is our mission statement.
